Connecting wallet eligibility to commerce

Digital-collectibles commerce brand · 2024 · v1.0

§ 006.1 · executive summary

I built wallet connection and burn-to-buy storefront functionality, wallet-based discounts, and checkout validation for a commerce experience linked to digital assets.

§ 006.2 · problem statement

Eligibility depended on asset ownership and redemption, while the storefront cart remained a user-controlled surface.

§ 006.3 · architecture decision

The work connected a theme app extension, backend eligibility checks, discount logic, and checkout validation instead of relying only on hiding storefront controls.

This overview shows the concerns involved; the account below distinguishes delivered work from plans.

§ 006.4 · tradeoffs accepted

External asset state and commerce state required coordination. Encrypted cart attributes alone do not establish authenticity, freshness, or replay protection.

My contribution

I worked as a senior engineer and informal technical lead on wallet connection, burn-to-buy, discounts, and checkout validation. The broader MVP document is not treated as proof that I delivered every proposed feature.

Outcome and evidence boundary

The project launched. No claim is made that every checkout path was independently security-audited or that the design eliminated all abuse.
