Whether machines can understand what you sell depends on clear, current, structured catalog data.

AI discoverability isn't SEO with a new name.
It's whether machines can understand what you sell, who it's for, and whether your data is accurate enough to recommend or cite you.
That changes the work. Descriptions need to be clear—not just keyword-stuffed. Availability and pricing need to stay current. Policies and attributes need structure so an agent doesn't guess wrong.
Thin, duplicated, or stale catalog data doesn't just hurt rankings. You may not show up in the conversation at all.
The practical question: can something that never hit your homepage still represent your products correctly?
That's the bar for a growing slice of discovery.
